This is one of 2 of my masterpieces made full of many techniques I’ve learned in Metalsmithing.
Starting with the choker, This is a braided leather chord, with hand fabricated sterling silver end caps, chain links, and hand forged hook style closure.
Next we have hand forged paddled wire links shaped into circled rings and attached together with silver ball wires (balls are created with a torch, one by one) this is considered a negative space.
Next is a Smokey Quartz pendant that is made of Sterling Silver scrap pieces.
Next is a beautiful agate pendant surrounded with fancy gallery bezel wire.
Bottom pendant piece is a Rams Horn that has been cut to size and topped with fancy bezel wire that was soldered together, holes then drilled and pieces attached with screws and tiny bolts. Bolts were then turned over after stewed together and hammered (50 taps of a small hammer) to be secured so the bolt cannot untwist.
All twisted wire in this necklace piece is hand fabricated.
